Hoyts Intends To Grow Cinema Venues
January 2008 saw Australasian cinema exhibitor giant, Hoyts cinema group, enroll with Vista Entertainment Solutions for their new cinema management software. With 49 sites and over four hundred screens across New Zealand and Australia, the Hoyts cinema group is one of Australasias biggest circuits.
Hoyts cinema group provides a wide variety of cinema services to their clients. La Premier is the last word in luxury cinema-going, with completely reclining seats, personalised wait staff and access to a VIP fully licensed bar La Premier is great way to see a Hollywood smash hit. For the ones that like something a little more casual the Half Pipe is the way to go. Featuring giant luxury beanbags and a personal cinema, the Hoyts Half Pipe is a popular place for folks of every age. Vista easily manages all of Hoyts leading edge cinema concepts as tickets and concessions, to be purchased from any Point of Sale counter. This has enabled Hoyts to transition all customers, from the box office and concession counters to cinema auditoriums in a smooth and efficient demeanour.
To further augment Hoyts consumer service offerings, they chose to install further Vista modules Head Office, LED signage, Voucher Management, Loyalty and Web. To benefit from the popularity of the internet, Hoyts chose to add Vista Web to their sales channels. Buyers can now purchase movies tickets online, to any movie, for any session, at any Hoyts cinema. Hoyts also run a wonderful loyalty programme Hoyts movie Club, which offers consumers discounted ticket prices, alongside other great deals. Utilising Vista loyalty, Hoyts can now promote imminent movies in a more efficient demeanour, as they can target shoppers based on faithfulness profile.
The rolling out of Vista began in Apr 2008 and is expected to be complete by sometime in 2008. Hoyts is under the method of planning to develop cinema locales that will be provided with completely digital 3D screens, auditorium seating, and gourmand food and beverage facilities.
Hoyts said that the Te Rapa compound would have the first purpose-built, completely digitalized flick locale in this country, with approximately 1300 seats, six digital movie screens, a food emporium, bar, and an auditorium for huge screen shows, meetings, private functions and sports entertainment.
